IWFS-Naples moves to Zelle

In an effort to make the transition to Zelle payments for wine dinners easier, we’ve come up with the following instructions (and have attached photos of example screens that you may see from your bank, obviously, each bank will have their own screens but essentially, once you make one payment to IWFS Naples, your bank saves the info making the next transaction easier.) All major banks, and most community banks, use Zelle, it is the new way to send money and is faster and more secure than an ACH transfer. 

Note: There are a few small, community banks that may not use it yet (please contact us at IWFS.Naples@yahoo.com if your bank does not support Zelle for instructions). 

This will make your reservation faster and avoids the issues/delays with the US mail we’ve been having. You will receive an email invitation and will be directed to our dedicated website to RSVP, then go to YOUR bank (you do NOT need the Zelle app, do it through your OWN bank) to pay for your reservation.

Steps:

1. Go to your bank app or online banking site (you will see pay with Zelle similar to the attached photo), choose it.

2. Choose to pay and enter that you are paying a business, then type in the email: IWFS.Naples@yahoo.com 

3. You may see a screen like the attached, telling you that you are paying INTERNATIONAL WINE & FOOD SOCIETY - NAPLES this is the name we are registered as. (Note: The attached screen was alerting me that the name is different, I just entered IWFS-Naples.)

4. Hit continue 

5. Enter the amount, you are able to leave a comment (name/event would be helpful, we will see the name on your account and we will have your response on the website to match it up with)

6. You may see a screen like the attached since it’s your first payment to IWFS-Naples, hit accept and continue…

7. You’ll get a screen (like the attached) telling you that you sent the dollar amount to IWFS-Naples. The first payment may take 1-3 business days, thereafter, future payments are sent within minutes!

PLEASE try to use this payment method, it is safer than mailing a check and your reservations get to us much quicker plus there is a trail in your bank records. You’ll receive an email that you sent payment, you’ll receive a confirmation number for the payment and we’ll receive an email telling us you’ve paid. Also, it saves us on invitation costs and bank fees for paper checks.
